To provide customer support and communication for Company customers, and marketing, sales professional services, and administration. Under direct supervision, responsible for booking and releasing customer orders and assuring that all orders are properly shipped. A high degree of skill and ability to explain most complex matters to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, and to sell products and services. Performs customer service and account maintenance tasks that are more advance. Impacts various areas through effective coordination of information from different offices. This information will be used by Sales Management in customer account business reviews.

Responsibilities

Works under limited supervision. Functions as a communications link between Customers and Sales Representatives. Provides general Customer Service for complex accounts.

Major Function and Scope:

  • Processes EDI and manual customer purchase orders and providing specialized information such as order status, product availability, labeling, pricing, testing, compliance, and product creation.

  • Working as liasion between customer, sales, distribution, manufacturing and planning departments to resolve any issues related to the products and processes at Mohawk Home while keeping within the established guidelines and procedures.

  • Complete system setup request for internal and external systems.

  • Maintain 3rd party systems that our customers use to process data.

  • Provide specific reports as required related to point of sale, inventory and forecast data.

  • Track problems or issues with shipping orders to ensure our customer's requirements are met.

  • Maintain documentation of all customer requirements.

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Education: College Degree or comparable educational background

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Customer Service function or relevant commensurate experience required.

  • Basic computer skills required (MS Word, Excel, AS400)
